Counselor

Counselor at Pinnacle Treatment Centers focused on guiding patients through recovery with comprehensive documentation, crisis counseling, group sessions, and evidence-based treatment planning. Responsibilities include completing patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries; orienting patients to program objectives and rules; assessing and placing patients according to treatment phases; maintaining clinical documentation; providing crisis counseling and facilitating referrals; conducting intakes and urine drug screening; submitting reports and attending supervision and trainings; and staying current with federal/state regulations regarding confidentiality and methadone treatment. Qualified candidates typically hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher (Counselor I/II) or a Master’s degree or higher (Counselor III) with relevant licensure paths (e.g., CADC, LPCC, LCSW, LADC, LMFT, etc.). This is a full-time role based in Carrollton, KY, onsite.
