Job Summary
Conduct individual, group, or family therapy for adults and children experiencing acute mental health symptoms via audio-visual telehealth. Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments, regularly assess suicide risk, and implement safety planning. Provide patient orientation to the Psych@Home program and initiate discharge planning at treatment start. Coordinate with internal and external provider partners, maintain client charting per regulatory standards, and prepare discharge documentation. Participate in team rounds, after-hours calls for potential admissions, and supervision sessions. Perform in-person services at clinical sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid unencumbered LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LIMFT or LMFT License in the state of Ohio
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Competency in the treatment of mental health and/or substance use disorders within the context of individual, group, couples and family systems therapy
- Experience collaborating with other team members to optimize outcomes clients
- Familiarity of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Awareness of community and state support resources for population served
- Flexibility to work evenings and extended hours
- Adequate hearing to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology
- Adequate speaking ability to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens
- Ability to perform occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted
- Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday
- Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfably
- Annual flu vaccination
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
