Counselor - Per Diem

Conduct individual initial assessments and evaluation interviews to determine service eligibility. Facilitate group and individual sessions to assist patients with crisis management, coping strategies, and opioid addiction techniques. Evaluate patient progress during therapy and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure best overall outcomes. Involve families and significant others in the recovery process whenever possible. Develop aftercare and discharge plans while responding to patient grievances as needed. Requires certification such as CSC-AD, LCSW, or LCADC from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. This per diem role is offered by MedMark Treatment Centers, a progressive substance abuse treatment program focused on addressing physical, emotional, and mental aspects of opioid use disorder.
