Counselor

Provide counseling to individuals and families using psycho-educational and medical assessment models to address depression, addiction, stress, and self-esteem issues. Deliver individual counseling, family psychotherapy, and group facilitation while participating in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary team. Conduct assessments of mental status, behavioral patterns, and relationships; consult with staff and insurance providers on treatment recommendations. Submit service summaries, billing slips, and daily billing reports; complete evaluation, progress, and discharge reports in accordance with accreditation standards. Actively participate in the Crisis Intervention System (Beeper Team) and attend required in-house seminars and discipline meetings. Requires LCSW or LPC licensure and a Master's degree in human services.
