Job Summary
Counselor - Migrant Education position requiring Master’s Degree and Texas Counselor/Teacher certificates, with 3 years teaching experience. Responsibilities include providing group guidance, counseling services, and advocacy to migrant students; interpreting student data; planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive migrant guidance program; collaborating with TMIP and CAM P trips coordination; assisting with grade consolidation, college readiness, and graduation enrollment. Must contribute to the educational program and support migrant student growth, utilizing NGS reports for academic support and advocating for all migrant students to ensure on-time graduation and transition to higher education. Days: 205. Located in Brownsville, Texas (US); in-person duties indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Valid Texas Counselor’s Certificate
- Valid Texas Teacher’s Certificate
- Three (3) years teaching experience
