Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling for students navigating developmental challenges, stress, and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and diagnose disorders within your scope of practice while responding to campus crises. Maintain accurate confidential documentation and coordinate care with community providers. Serve as a mental health resource for faculty, staff, and administrators through consultation and prevention initiatives. Develop educational workshops, facilitate training for Residence Life, and promote wellness across the campus community. Work 40 hours per week from August 1 to June 15 in the McMinnville office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Three years of relevant clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an Oregon professional license appropriate to the counseling degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case conceptualization
- Experience providing culturally responsive counseling services to diverse populations
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community providers
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a valid Oregon Professional License corresponding to the counseling degree completed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated multicultural counseling skills and competencies
- Proven diagnostic and case conceptualization skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate effective treatment plans

- Experience providing counseling services in a college or university counseling center
- Experience working effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare or student support team
- Experience developing and facilitating classroom presentations, workshops, or educational programming
- Experience counseling young adults in a higher education setting
- Demonstrated success in working effectively within an interdisciplinary team
