Job Summary
Deliver end-to-end student support across in-person, phone, email, and online channels, guiding students through academic progress, degree completion, financial aid, registration, and enrollment. Resolve complex student matters using sound professional judgment while maintaining strong working knowledge of student business services and related support areas like Veterans Services and Housing. Build meaningful relationships with students and diverse populations to promote success, retention, and graduation outcomes. Collaborate with university departments to ensure seamless access to resources and consistent, student-focused experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of student information systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other web-based applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, staff, and leadership
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to students and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, faculty, and staff
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently, recognize priorities, take initiative, and assist team members as needed
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes, technologies, and systems
- Strong problem-solving, investigative, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make informed decisions, and maintain confidentiality when appropriate
