Job Summary
Counselor II in the CAT program provides advanced, clinically supervised client-centered therapeutic services for youth 11–21 with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. The role requires a Master’s Degree and entails lead responsibilities including mentoring Bachelor’s Direct Care staff and Behavioral Technicians, assessing and treating clients, developing treatment plans, delivering direct services, managing client risk and safety, and ensuring services are documented in compliance with laws and standards. Travel to clients’ homes and training locations is required. Must pass CPI training, CPR certification, background screenings, and possess a valid driver’s license. Sign-on bonus is offered. Location noted: DeFuniak Springs, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- Must be able to pass advanced CPI Training
- Must be able to obtain (or provide a valid) CPR certification
- Must be able to travel to clients’ homes, training locations and other locations as necessary
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy
