Job Summary
Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment for substance use and mental health disorders by performing screening, intake, assessment, evaluation, intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting, and record keeping. Participate in program, administrative, and clinical committees as assigned while relating effectively with staff, clients, and community in compliance with confidentiality requirements. This Full-Time Jail Mat Services Program role offers a sign-on incentive up to $1,500 and a salary range of $25.00–$28.00 per hour. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma/GED with progress toward QHP status and possess knowledge of addiction recovery and behavioral health principles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- demonstrated steady progress towards QHP status
- QHP status includes active enrolment in CASAC or Associate's or Bachelor's level Human Services program
- Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process and principles of counseling
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services with CASAC-T
- One year counseling/human services experience
