Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic services for adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor within the Crisis Receiving Center. Provide stabilization and observation for individuals experiencing mental health crises in a safe, dry, warm environment. Deliver skills training, psych-educational groups, and implement evidence-based practices while interacting as part of an interdisciplinary team. Complete required documentation and collaborate on crisis receiving and stabilization services. Work the overnight shift from Tuesday at 4:00pm to 6:30am, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 5:00am.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social services field
- QMHA required
- QMHA certified or registered with MHACBO
- Knowledge of human behavior
- Knowledge of individuals diagnosed with mental illness/addiction issues
- Knowledge of rehabilitation and recovery theories/practice
- Abilities in skills training and psych-educational groups/classes
- Abilities to implement evidence-based practices
- Abilities to interact as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Abilities to complete required documentation
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet agency's insurance standards
- MVR check
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Drugfree workplace compliance
Desired Qualifications
- History of working cooperatively in a team setting
- At least two years relevant work experience
