Job Summary
Coordinate and implement the school's counseling services program, including academic advisement, developmental guidance, and career development. Deliver individual, small group, and large group counseling focused on social/personal development and career awareness. Collaborate with administrators, teachers, parents, and community agencies to address student needs, interpret student records for educational planning, and facilitate parent involvement through conferences. Provide preventive and responsive services, including crisis counseling and referrals to community resources. Assist students in developing self-understanding and interpersonal skills while maintaining professional knowledge and skills necessary for essential duties.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Professional Educator Certificate: Guidance and Counseling (Grades PK-12)
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance
