Job Summary
Counselor, Elementary School responsible for coordinating and implementing the school's counseling services program, including academic advisement, developmental guidance, and career awareness, with extensive collaboration among administrators, teachers, parents, and community agencies. Provides individual, small group, and large group counseling, uses school records for educational planning, addresses student needs with preventive and crisis counseling, and facilitates parent involvement and community resource connections. Travel to various school sites within the district is required.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Professional Educator Certificate: Guidance and Counseling (Grades PK-12) is required.
