Counselor Assistant

Monitor and observe the physical, mental, and emotional status of admitted clients during day or night rounds, logging all information and reporting progress at every shift change. Conduct daily and nightly inspections of residential client rooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure program compliance, health, safety, and security. Provide motivation, support, and encouragement to residents while logging telephone calls, personal visits, and significant events in the Residential logbook. Assume responsibility for managing and reporting incidents, perform urine drug screens as needed, and make calls to local ambulance, fire, or police services when necessary. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 12am to 8am at Men's Stabilization/Rehabilitation Residence in Queensbury, NY.
