Job Summary
Monitor and observe the physical, mental, and emotional status of admitted clients day or night. Conduct daily and nightly monitoring and reporting on all Men's Residences client rooms, kitchen, and common areas for program compliance, health, safety, and security. Provide motivation, support, and encouragement to residents while logging telephone calls, personal visits, and significant events into the Residential logbook. Transport clients to treatment program activities, D.S.S., medical, legal appointments, and recreational opportunities, including conducting random and routine urine drug screens. Report progress on the residence at every shift change. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager. Work Saturday and Sunday shifts from 4pm to 12am. A valid New York State driver license is required; CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver license
- High school diploma or GED
- Saturday and Sunday 4pm-12am shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Attending or completed 350-hour CASAC course
