Job Summary
Provide diagnostic assessments, determine appropriateness of service, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct intensive one-to-one and group counseling, document client activity and billing-ready updates, and collaborate with treatment team. Requires knowledge of alcoholism/chemical dependency, strong communication/interpersonal skills, ability to make decisions, and ability to maintain required documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Shall be currently certified, or eligible for certification, by one of the following licensure/certification entities as required by the position: ODADAS, State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board, Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Prior counseling experience in outpatient or inpatient settings preferred, including experience working with chemically dependent people/families, experience with the 12-Step Recovery Program.
- Valid Ohio Motor Vehicle License required and ability to maintain insurability.
- Maintain CPR/First Aid training.
- Degree in Behavioral Science or related field preferred.
