Job Summary
Conduct counseling for survivors of child sexual abuse and their families, including crisis intervention and case management. Facilitate rehabilitation plans involving victim compensation, social security connections, and skill enhancement. Perform home visits and community outreach to deliver psychosocial assistance, legal aid, and digital safety awareness. Coordinate with police stations, courts, and stakeholders to ensure timely case procedures and child-friendly processes. Oversee data collection, prepare progress reports, and lead team meetings to drive program implementation. Complete and maintain detailed service records while managing significant travel across Malappuram districts using a two-wheeler. Support the state team in planning and follow-up on rescued children's rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Female candidate
- Post graduate in social work, law, Psychology / Social science or related fields from a recognized university
- Specialization in Counselling, child protection, Rehabilitation and other welfare or behavioral-related
- LLB as additional qualification
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of Work Experience (Counseling preferably with children or on child Protection area)
- Experience in child protection
- Proficiency in language: Regional Language mandate (Malayalam) and English with both written and spoken skills
- Willingness to perform extensive field work
- Two wheeler with Driving license
- Knowledge in Internet de-addiction counseling
- Experience of counseling techniques and therapeutically skill for individuals who have been survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA) and their families
- Crisis intervention and case management skills
- Essential - Two wheeler with Driving license
Desired Qualifications
- A post graduate in social work, law, Psychology / Social science or related fields from a recognized university and preferred
- Social science- Post-graduate degree with specialization in Counselling, child protection, Rehabilitation and other welfare or behavioral-related
- Candidates with LLB as additional qualification shall be given preference
- Candidate worked in child protection will be given added advantage
