Job Summary
Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial agreements for IT services, software licensing, cloud platforms, and mobile app development. Advise business units on data security, privacy implications, and compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA. Manage enterprise-wide NDAs and data processing agreements while developing technology-related policies and terms of use. Partner cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, and Information Security to deliver business-oriented legal guidance on emerging technologies and digital initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree
- admission to practice law in the State of New York
- 3-5 years of experience in the practice of law
- Excellent contract drafting, interpretation, analysis and negotiation skills
- Comprehensive analytical skills to identify and prioritize legal issues to be addressed in order to best protect company from various legal risks
- Knowledge of technology-related regulations and best practices, commercial law and related areas
- Demonstrated expertise in independently handling complex contractual and legal matters in the information technology fields
