Job Summary
Counsel in the Privacy, Security & AI Office leading AI governance, AI policy development, and privacy-by-design initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting AI governance policies, leading internal awareness campaigns for responsible AI, supporting PIAs/DPIAs/TIAs/LIAs, advising on GDPR/CCPA compliance, data transfer mechanisms, and regulatory readiness, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure privacy and AI compliance across development and deployment. Requires active bar admission and 1-3+ years in privacy/data protection/technology law; experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and global privacy frameworks; preferred AI regulatory knowledge and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with active bar membership
- 1-3+ years of legal experience focusing on privacy, data protection, and technology law
- Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and global privacy frameworks
- Preferred: CIPP/E, CIPP/US and AIGP
- Direct experience with AI regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act) preferred
