Job Summary
Counsel to support the General Counsel by managing the contracts team and legal processes; oversee paralegal support for client engagement letters, master services agreements, responses to proposals, subcontractor and vendor agreements, NDAs, conflict waivers, and related documents; oversee subpoena compliance and court-related matters; review leases; manage intellectual property; oversee outside counsel usage; provide legal advice to business stakeholders; require JD, Bar admission, 3–7 years of litigation-backed experience; strong drafting/negotiation skills for client, vendor, and third-party contracts; capable of independent and collaborative work with willingness for occasional extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree
- Bar admission in one U.S. state or territory (in good standing)
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney
- Litigation experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (clients, vendors, third parties)
- Ability to advise on a variety of contracts and issues, with risk assessment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in a long-term role contributing to the growth of a legal department
- Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends
