Job Summary
Counsel (Manager) to provide legal support to assigned business units in Brazil, focused on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements; partner with business teams to provide day-to-day legal guidance on commercial and operational matters; coordinate with external counsel; contribute to templates, processes, and knowledge sharing; requires law degree with Brazilian Bar admission (OAB) and 6+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracts and negotiations; English fluency and Excel/Office proficiency expected.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree and admission to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), in good standing.
- 6+ years of post qualification legal experience, with solid experience in commercial contracts and negotiations.
- Knowledge of the electronic payments and financial services industry is a differential.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast paced environment with attention to detail and responsiveness.
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and business oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
