Job Summary
Counsel, IP Enforcement at Take-Two leads enforcement strategies for top gaming brands, supervising takedown pipelines, directing outside enforcement vendors and internal legal staff, and drafting clear C&D letters to frame infringements as legal violations while mitigating reputational risk. The role involves identifying copyright/trademark infringers, targeting infringers’ financial and technical support structures, advising on IP investigations, and collaborating with IT security and game integrity teams. Requires JD with 5-7 years in IP litigation/enforcement, strong knowledge of copyright/trademark law, and familiarity with gaming ecosystems, including modding communities and virtual asset marketplaces. Cross-timezone collaboration between India and the US is anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and JD from an accredited law school
- 5-7 years of focused experience in IP litigation and enforcement
- Deep working knowledge of copyright and trademark law
- Drafting of C&D letters and takedown notices
- Understanding of gaming ecosystems including modding communities and virtual asset marketplaces
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and multiple matters
