Job Summary

Counsel responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing EPC, equipment supply, and O&M agreements, master services and other services agreements tied to renewable energy developments; provide advice on business transactions with customers, contractors, and suppliers; proactively manage risk across multiple contracts and projects; oversee negotiations with partners and disputes with subcontractors and suppliers; guide management on complex legal issues; manage outside counsel and consultants; participate in training for company personnel; some travel may be required; remote-friendly role with California and New York residents excluded from eligibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in at least one United States jurisdiction
  • Minimum of two years of legal experience
  • Experience in renewable energy industry
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts such as EPC agreements, capital equipment procurement agreements, or power purchase agreements
