Job Summary
Follow all state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and execute the treatment plan defined by the supervising OT. Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment while observing, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team on therapy areas within the scope of practice, functioning in any home situation regardless of client demographics. Requires current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, a valid driver's license with insurance, and CPR certification within 90 days. Pay ranges from $48,175 to $72,263 annually based on full-time employment and productivity points, with additional benefits including equity stock purchase and 401k.
