Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services in home care settings to restore patients' physical abilities, strictly adhering to state laws and the supervising OT's treatment plan. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team on therapy activities within the scope of practice. Function in diverse home situations regardless of client demographics. Maintain a current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to public transportation. Requires current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
