Job Summary
Conduct patient therapy under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help individuals regain skills for everyday life. Provide care in a Skilled Nursing Facility with a weekend schedule (Saturday or Sunday) and a workweek guideline of 36 hours. Maintain adherence to a 14-day cancellation notice policy and hold an active California COTA license. Complete weekend clinical experience requirements and utilize documentation systems common in SNFs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active California COTA license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Weekend clinical experience
- Ability to meet client-specific requirements, including adherence to a 14-day cancellation notice policy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
- Prior experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation systems commonly used in SNFs
