Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care and implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist at a skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, VA. Document patient progress, modify treatment plans, and ensure patient safety while providing education to patients and families. Requires a current Virginia COTA license, Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, and minimum one year of SNF experience. Full-time 8-hour day shift with 100% paid housing, weekly pay, and comprehensive medical benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Ability to implement individualized therapy plans and provide direct patient care under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Experience documenting patient progress and modifying treatment plans under OT guidance
- Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and provide patient/family education
