Job Summary
Conduct home health occupational therapy services under licensed OT supervision, assisting patients in regaining everyday skills, implementing treatment plans, fabricating adaptive devices, and supporting discharge planning. Document patient care accurately and participate in performance improvement activities while adhering to privacy and compliance programs. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for community reintegration and maintain clinical competencies through staff development. Nights, 5x8 schedule in Pollocksville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an occupational therapy assistant education program accredited by ACOTE or successor organization
- Current state licensure/certification required to practice in North Carolina
- Minimum 6 months of occupational therapy assistant experience
- Current CPR certification required
- Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury required
- Good organizational and communication skills
- The ability to function with moderate supervision
- Nights, 5x8
- May require participation in community reintegration activities and coordination with interdisciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred
- Experience with home health settings preferred
