Job Summary
Travel COTA role in a Skilled Nursing Facility under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Provide restorative and ADL-focused interventions for geriatric patients, with EMR usage and potential BLS requirements. Travel contract with full benefits, housing and relocation assistance, and multiple employment options (direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel) through Jackson Therapy Partners. Requires Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and an active Florida COTA license.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active Florida State COTA license is required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide restorative and ADL-focused interventions for geriatric populations preferred
