Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain skills for everyday life. Document progress in electronic medical records and follow established treatment plans. Provide ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and transfer training for the geriatric population. Maintain an active California OTA license and current BLS certification. Work days shifts with 100% paid housing and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or OTA program
- Active California OTA license
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and transfer training
- Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document progress in electronic medical records
- Ability to work with geriatric population and patients with complex medical comorbidities
