Job Summary
Travel Contract COTA at a skilled nursing facility in Madera, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and an active California COTA license to start. BLS certification may be required. Experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care and with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and mobility assistance is preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans and document patient progress in electronic medical records. Assignment details include Days shift. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active California COTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and mobility assistance preferred
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist and document patient progress in electronic medical records
