Job Summary
Travel contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant needed for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bellingham, WA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, implementing restorative and adaptive interventions, and documenting care in electronic medical records. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Washington State COTA license or ability to obtain WA licensure prior to start of assignment.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records systems preferred.
