Job Summary
Conduct daily occupational therapy services for residents in a skilled nursing facility, assisting with functional skills for daily living and participating in care planning under licensed supervision. Document patient progress in electronic medical records while following facility-specific policies. Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to support resident independence and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for smooth transitions of care. This assignment includes five 8-hour shifts from 08:30 to 16:30, with 100% paid housing and travel reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active California COTA license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care
- Previous travel COTA experience
- Experience with restorative programs, ADL training, and transitional care
