Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Travel-contract assignment details include days shifts from 08:30 to 16:30, 5 days per week for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Kalamazoo, MI area. Requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and an active Michigan COTA license; BLS may be required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to documented treatment plans are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active Michigan COTA license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Availability for standard 5x8 days schedule with work hours 08:30–16:30 and a 30-minute meal break
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow documented treatment plans
