Job Summary
Conduct daily occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain skills for everyday life and contribute to interdisciplinary care at a skilled nursing facility. Maintain an active Michigan COTA license and provide BLS certification as required. Document progress in electronic medical records and float to other facilities within the client network if needed. This assignment includes a 5x8 work schedule in Petoskey, MI, with full medical benefits, 401k matching, and 100% paid housing available starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active Michigan COTA license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities
- Experience with restorative nursing programs
- Documentation in electronic medical records
