Job Summary
Conduct patient care activities in a skilled nursing facility under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain skills for everyday life. Follow established treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain an active Michigan COTA license and BLS certification. Provide coverage on the Days shift in a 5x8 schedule, working 35 hours per week. This assignment includes 13 weeks of contract length with guaranteed hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active Michigan COTA license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
Desired Qualifications
- experience with geriatric populations and restorative care practices
