Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy services for a diverse caseload in a skilled nursing setting, including assisting with all types of transfers and providing adaptive ADL retraining. Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care. Perform functional task practice to help individuals regain function, independence, and confidence while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Utah Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused
- Passion for working with the geriatric population
Desired Qualifications
- One year of SNF experience preferred
