Job Summary
COTA - Outpatient Clinic, PRN provides therapy under the direction of the Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include delivering treatments to patients as directed, instructing families and staff in maintenance programs, coordinating with the treatment team, maintaining documentation and charges, ensuring equipment operation, participating in care conferences, and supporting community health activities. Requires current OTA licensure, Missouri and/or national certification, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with basic MS Office tools. PRN/part-time role with on-site responsibilities and potential on-call duties. EOE/D/V.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as Occupational Therapist Assistant is required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in Missouri and/or nationally certified is required
- Current valid driver’s license is required with proof of insurance
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals
- Ability to write reports and procedures
- Ability to present information to groups
- Mathematical proficiency for measurements and calculations
