Job Summary
Assist therapists with implementing therapy plans of care in the Day Room Setting under direct supervision. Delegate support personnel to enhance patient services and facilitate patient education for patients, families, and coworkers. Perform transfer activities, assist with treatment tasks, and engage patients in individual and group settings to support therapeutic goals. Plan and transport patients for community reintegration outings and manage clinic equipment maintenance. Document skilled activities for billing and charging. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Chesterfield, MO location.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Current State Driver's License in good standing
- Class E license allowing for the operation of the bus
Desired Qualifications
- First aid certification
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
