Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant with NYS OTA license and BLS, proficient in EMR systems (REHAB OPTIMA and POINT CLICK CARE a plus) to provide quality therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting under the Plan of Care. Collaborates daily with OT Supervisor, documents patient progress, supports patients with conditions such as TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other diagnoses, and participates in a range of shifts (Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem, weekends/days/evenings). Benefits include orientation, paid sick leave, commuter benefits, weekly pay, and referral bonuses; independent contractors are not eligible for all benefits. Located in Valhalla, NY with on-site work expectation.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS OTA License and Registration
- Valid BLS Certification
- EMR Competence (Proficiency in REHAB OPTIMA + POINT CLICK CARE a plus!)
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
