Job Summary
Assist in planning, organizing, and conducts occupational therapy programs under the direct guidance of a registered Occupational Therapist; treats and educates patients and families as appropriate to physical, mental, and developmental disabilities; monitors patient progress and maintains records with confidentiality; protects residents from neglect and abuse.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Organized and detailed in work performance
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people
