Job Summary
Assist the occupational therapist in evaluating patient function, developing treatment plans, and preparing clinical notes. Educate patients and families on equipment use and home therapy programs while observing and reporting changes in patient condition. Advise agency personnel, participate in case conferences, and coordinate weekly visit schedules to ensure quality care. Requires current Michigan COTA licensure, one year of home care experience, CPR certification, and a valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation. Weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Current Michigan driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of car insurance
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year in a home care setting preferred
