Job Summary
Assess patient function levels, prepare clinical notes, and develop treatment plans under licensed supervision. Educate patients and families on equipment use and home therapy programs while assisting with rehabilitation according to the care plan. Observe and report condition changes, advise agency personnel, and participate in case conferences. Confirm weekly visit scheduling with the occupational therapist to coordinate necessary visits. Requires current Michigan COTA licensure, one year of home care experience, CPR certification, and a valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation. Weekly pay and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Current Michigan driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of car insurance
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year in a home care setting preferred
