Job Summary
Assist the occupational therapist in evaluating patient function levels, preparing clinical notes, and developing treatment plans. Advise families and agency personnel, observe and report condition changes, and educate clients on equipment use and home therapy programs. Support patient rehabilitation according to the care plan, participate in case conferences, and coordinate weekly visit schedules. Maintain positive rapport with clients while ensuring quality care within the skilled home care division.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Current Michigan driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of car insurance
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year in a home care setting preferred
