Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, prepare clinical and progress notes, and develop treatment plans for home care patients under licensed supervision. Advise families and agency personnel, educate clients on equipment and home therapy programs, and assist with rehabilitation according to the plan of care. Observe and report patient condition changes, participate in case conferences, and coordinate weekly visit schedules with the occupational therapist. Requires current Michigan COTA licensure, one year of home care experience, CPR certification, and a valid Michigan driver's license. Weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and tablet provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Current Michigan driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of car insurance
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year in a home care setting preferred
