Job Summary
Conduct therapy treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload across acute care, rehab, skilled facility, and outpatient settings. Assist rehabilitation staff with patient preparation, transportation, and departmental maintenance while supervising support staff and volunteers. Aids patients in prescribed exercises, leads group programs, and maintains medical records and paperwork. Communicate objective information to therapists and supervisors to ensure efficient coordination. Requires an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification, and BLS CPR. Full-time role at Jefferson Einstein- Willowcrest in Philadelphia.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid certification from the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy
- BLS CPR certification via AHA
- 0-2 years of clinical practice
