Job Summary
Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, focusing on improving daily living skills, fine motor function, and upper extremity rehabilitation. Document patient progress, treatment notes, and goal updates accurately while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies, maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment. Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and clinic initiatives. Requires active COTA licensure in California, NBCOT certification, and minimum 2 years' experience. Required Qualifications
- Active COTA licensure in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current NBCOT certification in good standing
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinic environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or hand therapy setting is a plus
