Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy and direct participant care to individuals age 55 and older under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Assist with participant care planning, optimize function and safety, and maintain department records per facility policy. Coordinate Occupational Therapy services by planning, scheduling, mailing, transporting, and filing documents. Manage durable medical equipment inventory, ordering, distribution, and maintenance as needed. Work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm at a PACE provider in Eckert, CO, serving participants in their own homes and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Is a registered COTA in Colorado or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in a long-term care facility
