Job Summary
Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in an acute hospital setting, providing rehabilitation to patients to develop, recover, and improve daily living skills. Responsibilities include following established treatment plans, documenting progress, and contributing to patient care within a busy hospital system. Requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, active state COTA license, and BLS certification; experience in acute care is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active State license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Ability to follow established plans of care and departmental policies
- Demonstrated effective teaching and documentation skills
