Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) needed for Summit Home Care & Hospice in Cincinnati, OH. Role involves home health visits, training at the local office, and remote work options. Reports to the Registered Occupational Therapist and supports implementation of standards of care, evaluation of patient function and home environment, patient and caregiver instruction, and coordination of care. Maintains clinical records and participates in in-services, case conferences, and referrals as directed by the supervising therapist. Requires current OTA accreditation, national certification, state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts in accordance with state licensure laws
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant is preferred
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements
