COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Deliver occupational therapy-related services to a diverse patient population ranging from neonatal to geriatric individuals under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Establish consent prior to treatment, identify self by name and title, and determine the presence of Advanced Directives. Report suspected cases of abuse or neglect and understand the role of the Bioethics Committee. Maintain patient privacy and modesty throughout care provision. Requires a COTA diploma, CA licensure, and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
